Easy Riders Raging Podcast

From Star Wars to Saturday Night Fever, to The Godfather and Grease, Annie Hall and Alien, the 1970s was THE decade for great movies. Here at Easy Riders Raging Podcast we're looking back at all the classics of the decade, discussing the films of Scorsese, Friedkin, Coppola, Altman, De Palma and many many more. Aside from our discussions, each episode includes some of our trademark features such as Recastarama (where we recast the film using current actors) and Who Am I (where we work out who we would be in the film). Lots of fun to be had. [Our 1960s series is also available]

In this episode Paul, Kieran and I boldly go where... probably lots of podcasts have been before as we talk about Star Trek. Specifically, the first Trek film 'Star Trek: The Motion Picture' but also touching on all the films and the various TV shows (as well as debating which is better, Double Deckers or Toffee Crisps).

In this episode Kieran and I talk about a multitude of topics as we discuss the film 'Network' by Sidney Lumet.

So you can expect talk on outrage culture, the up and down career of Liam Neeson, James Gunn, Rosanne, Netflix, 'Deal or No Deal', 'What is America?', Jonathan Pie, the shows of Aaron Sorkin, reality TV (specifically 'Big Brother') and 'The Meg'.

Oh, and Kieran has a dynamite anecdote about watching 'Catchphrase'.

In this episode Paul and I discuss the Arthur Hiller film (written by recently deceased screenwriter Neil Simon) 'The Out-of-Towners' starring Jack Lemon and Sandy Dennis.

Oh, and that fantastic Bristol cinema we mention is called 20th Century Flicks. If you're in the area please check them out!
